i’m trying to get over a cough rn bc i miss ppl but other than that pretty normal

I got done with football practice a few hours ago and I have to watch film for a team that my JV and Varisty team is going to play next week.

I feel confident about that matchup, but my coach is putting me in as a safety and wide receiver. I can’t wait for football season to happen. :)

oh cool! which are you more comfortable playing? when i dreamed of playing football those were the positions i thought of playing (along with QB)

I’m more comfortable playing as a safety because I usually have a quicker reaction time and know what I’m doing but as a wide receiver I can run routes but I have some awful hands along with a slow speed.

good hands would help with safety too but at least you don’t need ‘em for the position like with WR
actually i watch a lot of football tape from the nfl and college and some WRs that are really good aren’t even that fast like cooper kupp in the nfl and jsn in college, they’re really sudden with route running and so they’re always open
i kinda find that inspiring to just know you don’t have to be usain bolt to be good at the position
