You should just stick with blocking him. You both seemed to be instigating. I don't really see a good reason to issue a comment ban.

Probably ignore it, that sort of thing's pretty common. Besides, the only ones that can remove your mod are the owners, not a poll. So just stay within TOS and you should be fine. If it's ever unclear where that line is, feel free to ask me.
