Sure, but then we'd need 87,000 people to count the paper ballots without machines.

It isn't that hard.
The problem is finding people you can trust to do the counting.

I was going to explain in more detail in a comment but I was on a 24 hour timer for reciting Muslim history.
So what I meant was that it would be an activist group where a human verifies by ID that a person is real (you know a picture where you hold up the id and put your hand in a certain pose). Then after that the person goes in and puts how they voted. The data would be stored in an encrypted blockchain database spanning servers all around the US to keep it safe and secure. If enough people did this we could prove the vote was stolen.

Yes, that's what they say, but its actually not. Its racist to think minorities aren't smart enough to go to the DMV with some paperwork to get an ID.
