Disney gave storm troopers the stereo type of having bad aim(because in the origional movies the storm troopers let the main characters go so they could lead them to the rebel base) If they were so bad at aiming how the heck did they conquer most of the galaxy in such a small amount of time.

In the origionals lucastfilm owned star wars then Disney bought it and made stormtroopers bad aim a stereotype
