Eh, that makes it difficult as the user would then complain to the stream mods who would think they are actually banned. It’s easier to just ban the user from commenting outright. The block button is already there for this very reason and I think this will lead to mods believing people were falsely banned. Further more, if we could ban anyone we wanted from commenting on the image, users could abuse it and get rid of any differing opinions that could be respectable that way.
