I once saw a fanmade manga where when a trainer went into a Pokeball, it exploded. Not so good of a thing, right?

Well, the exact functioning of pokeballs is unclear, however, we do know that trainers will block a pokeball thrown at their pokemon without getting caught, so wither people cannot be captured in them, or it is easily avoidable.
