I wonder why the DOJ's motion doesn't want the actual affadavit, or sworn statement for you leftists, to be released? Trump has called for all of it to go public. Weird.

Here you go, hot off Court filed documents today... the DOJ's reasoning for not wanting the affidavit to be unsealed at this time.

Guaranteed, that affidavit WILL become public knowledge at some point in the foreseeable future. For now, only someone truly ignorant of how the judicial system actually operates and/or a GOP political propaganist would ever question such.

Unlike Trump - who uses total BS rhetoric to whip his base into a frenzy for self serving purposes, DOJ are mandated by law to follow legal protocals before ever disclosing and/or releasing any information regarding their investigations.

Knowing such, Trump fully expected the DOJ would be impotent in counteracting his rhetoric claims about a political witch hunt, etc, and that they'd never disclose any legal documents pertaining to the search warrrant (deliberately placed under seal in order to preserve & protect Trump's legal rights).

Remember, it was Trump - not the DOJ - that first disclosed Mar-a-Lago being searched in an effort to spin a narrative about being politically persecuted (and fund raise off that) when in reality, it was always about his own criminalities. He figured he had the upper hand against the DOJ in spinning a narrative beneficial to himself, knowing full well the latter are legally constrained in whatever they can disclose about any investigation.

He never anticipated DOJ would call his bluff and file a 'motion to unseal', which, need I remind you, was initially put in place to protect Trump's privacy and legal rights. Now he & all his corrupt allies are scrambling to come up with a new narrative their gullible followers will naively believe as to why Trump illegally absconded with Top Secret documents pertaining to the US's nuclear weapons when he left the WH.

For someone that has a GLOBAL reputation as being a purely monetary transactional individual with no moral compass, is it any wonder he's also now under investigation under the Espionage Act?

Remember when Garland said the DOJ only speaks through court filings and then hours later the media were publishing leaks from the DOJ? Good times.

What leaks specifically are you refering to?

I'll take your failure to provide any evidenciary proof of such for multiple days on end to be an admission you have none but thought you could bluff your way through any legitimate questioning.

Trump always had the legal authority to produce the search warrant documents himself but chose to engage in a charade, professing to be a victim of a political witch hunt. DOJ outsmarted him today by filing a Motion to Unseal the documents with the Courts. He has till noon tomorrow to object to them doing so.

Does he really want his base to know he illegally took Top Secret documents when he departed the WH, some of which contained US nuclear weapons information? We'll see.

Here's the Court filing for the Motion to Unseal...

PS... the warrant cited the Espionage Act, requiring tangible proof via witness testimony, videos, documentary evidence, etc, presented to the Judge which caused him to approve the warrent.

At this point we don't know who tipped off the FBI and DOJ about the other boxes of classified documents still remaining at Mar-a-Lago but we do know, the former's now in possession of Mar-a-Lago security videotapes over the past 3 months which shows some of those boxes being removed from the storage facility in the basement and later returned. Hence why the warrant cited articles of the Espionage Act, as it was highly conceivable some of those docs were possibly being sold to adversaries for profit.

Trump's reputation globally for over 40 years has been that of prolific liar, conartist, and financially transactional self serving individual, yet remarkably the only ones who apparently remain oblivious to the fact are his own supporters.

By now, I'm sure many of them do realize they were conned yet still keep up with the charade because they're either too embarrassed to admit they fell for his con or alternatively, fear being cast out of their social group.

How many years have you seen this same BS play out against Trump????

If you're asking me how many years I've been reading media reports about Trump's behaviour and his various criminalities, the answer is decades.

Long before he became a national household name via 'The Apprentice", NYers in the late 80s knew of his propensity for financially shafting his lawyers, construction workers, architects, etc. by refusing to pay them for work conducted, always claiming he wasn't pleased with the work they'd done. The latter always backed down from suing him to recoup those losses knowing full well it would cost them more to take him to court to retrieve those funds.

By the early 90s, international media began to report on Trump, not only exposing his financial shenanigans within NY but also disclosing how Trump adopted a pseudonym name at that time known as John Barron - claiming to be one of his spokespersons - who would phone up radio & TV stations to constantly hype up Trump's "triumphs".

Soon after, Trump became the talk of the town in ethical legal and business communities in major cities around the world and was known as a highly corrupt pariah one should stay away from.

It's not a coincidence Trump's son, Barron, is so named.

Pretty sure similar propaganda depictions - albeit more international in nature - were produced in Germany decades ago.

pretty sure you're right except the propaganda was been spread by those who controlled the MSM... LOL

What? You don't think absconding Top Secret documents pertaining to US's nuclear weapons are considered probable cause?

JFC... do you even know who approved and signed off that search warrant?

It was not only Trump's own FBI Director appointee - Christopher Wrey - it was also multiple individuals within the DOJ at both state and national levels, including FL's US Acting Attorney, Juan Gonzales; Chief of Counterintelligence & Export Control Section, National Security Division, Jay Bratt; US's AG Merritt Garland; as too US Magistrate Judge, Bruce Reinhart.

So you didn't know they were there before collecting documents?

WTF

WTF are you even talking about? Trump's own lawyer signed off months ago when the previous boxes were retrieved that no classfied docs remained on the premises. So Trump either lied to them or alternatively, they chose to participate in his fraud. It was later revealed via a tip from a Mar-a-Lago insider that was not the case, hence the issuance of the search warrant after Trump refused to give the other docs back, claiming they were his property.

Some of us in this world know exactly how the media operates and are well informed to know the Associated Press shares many news articles internationally. We also know that foreign correspondents from multiple nations globally - many of which produce far more factual information than propaganda - also report on such. It takes a whole lot of stupidity on the part of political propagandists to think everyone nationally and/or globally are just as gullible as yourself.
