I respectfully disagree with your stance on the war: I believe Russia is not a free country, though it is far from the tyranny of the communist era and is still far better than China, which I believe is the real main threat to freedom in the world, and Ukraine seems to be a more free country, with their decommunization laws, and general hostility towards communism, though I do not trust their government, especially due to their dealings with the Biden administration, and I believe their government is severely corrupt, but I agree that the US government is totally hypocritical on Britney Griner’s case. If they’re going to be so concerned about someone in jail for marijuana possession, why don’t they release all the other people in American prisons for the same offense? It’s blatant anti-Russian bias at that point.
Also, I would not argue that the majority pro-Ukrainian stance is “hate speech”, though certainly there are some sectors, like the infamous Azov Nazis, whom I abhor and despise, that spout Banderite propaganda, most pro-Ukraine people that I have seen do not advocate such monstrous crimes against Russian or Donbass civilians. I could point to some Russians who want to more severely punish Ukraine, like the author of «Что Россия должна сделать с Украиной?» (“What should Russia do with Ukraine?”) but, as on the Ukrainian side, such people do not make up the main body of government.
