USA wants every one (and most are not close to that number) to spend 2% of GDP on defense. China recently announced they would be spending 7.1%. That just warms the cockles of libs everywhere in this country.

And at 10x the cost.

I suspect china supported those ambitions look how well it has worked out for them. We are almost out of Javelins and Stingers and Russia is selling all the oil they could ever want at a discount.

so Russia is a puppet regime of China? gotcha!

wars always benefit one country and hurts another.
When Iran and Iraq attacked each other- it kept them both at bay

I guess your news sources dont post this?
July 29, 2022
Exxon Mobil and Chevron, the two largest energy companies in the United States, said on Friday that profits rose to record levels in the second quarter as they continued to reap the benefits of soaring oil and gas prices.

Exxon reported income of $17.9 billion for the three months through June, more than three times what it earned in the same quarter a year ago. Revenue at the energy giant jumped to $115.6 billion, from $67.7 billion a year ago. Chevron’s performance was similar, with profit more than tripling to $11.6 billion as sales rose to $65 billion, compared with $36 billion a year ago.

Coming after oil prices nearly doubled from a year ago, the results were expected, but Exxon and Chevron still beat analysts’ predictions for profits in the quarter. The results mean that five of the biggest Western oil companies — including Britain’s BP and Shell, as well as France’s TotalEnergies — are likely to have generated some $60 billion in earnings for the second quarter.

Why would the trampf campaign leak to russia?
Was russia trying to help diapers win?
Was manafort a trader for doing this, or just a good American wanting his candidate to win- at all costs?
Why would he deny that he helped russia if this wasn't illegal?
Why would Diapers pardon him?

.... You think the United States military is not ready?

Well, good thing we don't have to test your theory, but preparation is what the US military specializes in. More than tech, more than money, more than what's in our storage locker, it's preparation and planning. That's what our strength is.

I think it's downright ridiculous that your faith in our military is shaken because we sell off our surplus - literally the stuff we have more of than we need.

Most wars are not planned, so there is no way you can be sure of that opinion. I would rather be fully prepared than take the risk.

Most wars are started because 1.) one side perceives the other to be weak.. or 2.) one side is pushed into a corner by the other and thinks war is the only way out...

When China invades Taiwan we can just tell them, “hang in for about 6 years then we will be able to help you out. For now we are busy throwing money and weapons down a losing rabbit hole. So sorry” signed Beggieman Biden

No. The exact opposite. Situations where one side is clearly going to win do not usually go to war. Most disputes that go to war, it's because the two sides were fairly evenly matched to begin with, or one side saw a way to level the playing field for a while.

The United States puts more into is military than the next twelve countries on the list combined, eleven of whom are our allies. Nobody's within 8 years of starting a war with us. It's not even close.

the US puts more inro defense than the next 12 countries combined 1) our forces are scattered all over the world china's are not, 2) our equipment cost 10 times as much as China's,, 3) our procurement system is based on corruption and politics how else do we keep buy littoral combat ships in the first place 4) our navy doctrine is based on tactics from 80years ago. 5) you can sink a carrier you can't sink mainland china. 6) we can't afford any casualties we don't have the stomach for it. 7) china can out last us eventually one party or the other in the US will attempt to use the conflict to seize power 8) we are completely and totally broke. 9) first rule of war never fight a war in Asia second rule of war never fight a war in Asia third rule of war ..........
