The inflation deduction act is dumb, it's just another bill to pay democrat friends before the republicans take one of the houses so they can start paying their friends.

Hard disagree. Here’s the one-page summary — it actually reduces the deficit, and it keeps us in the game of having a livable climate for our grandkids and their grandkids.

I would have liked to see paid family leave and early childhood education and the other things most civilized countries take for granted, but oh well. Maybe next time!

Down from last year? Nah. Down from a sustainable historic average? Nah.
Also the inflation increase act prints money to hire IRS agents and assumes spending billions to audit your grandma's 3 dollars in underpaid taxes will "decrease the deficit."

We’re literally in a recession, prices are still sky high for goods and services, and gas is still double what it was under Trump. I look forward to Pelosi losing her Speakership this midterm.
