Human decency? Smuggling drugs into a country that is our enemy, and then getting caught, is about as indecent as one can get.

You make it sound like she’s Pablo Escobar smuggling in 2 tons of cocaine into Russia, the poor girl only had a small amount of cannabis. Jesus Christ Brittany May be an asshole with shit politics but I won’t stand for her (or anybody else’s) human rights being trampled. Not even by Russia, a country I hold dear to my heart.

You’re probably right. I hate her because she spits on the flag and then tries to profit off of it around the world. Especially in our enemy’s backyard. And you’re right that I'm a hypocrite and I’d be all for bringing her home if she was someone like a military member or a conservative. I would also be calling it bullshit if she got 9 years for such a small amount.

That said, I’m not a real believer in Karma, but I’m willing (and beginning) to learn.

I refuse to hate anyone, hatred is a cancer of the soul. A flag means nothing to me. Family, kin, honour, dignity, loyalty and virtue mean everything to me. I won't get worked up over someone using their free speech to get upset at a piece of cloth or what it represents because I'm not petty.

Her punishment is unjust and nothing in the world will convince me otherwise. It is a blatant miscarriage of justice.
