I’ve always had problems with shading in digital art because I want to teach myself I don’t want to learn from a video or a class ;-;

tips for shooting though, choosing a darker color and then slowly going lighter and lighter as you go on through the sides of the face usually help

as you can see by my friends drawing, she has an easy time making a masterpiece
( and by easy I mean over a hundred plus tutorials and about 9 hours of work but-)

I mostly draw anime.
