I’m worried you guys are not checking the mods your giving. I think it’s easier to give one of the previous owners of MSMG owner and let them give back mod to those users who had mod previously.

Nar was already owner for a while when they took away everyone’s permissions.

I agree that users who are new to MSmg, or have never been Moderator or Owner here might be a bad choice to invite, maybe not though. New or not, every Mod or Owner on this stream (besides the stream creator) got an invite at one point.

Do you agree that inviting any moderator (who might later become owner) comes with some inherent risk of their making bad calls, moderation bias or stream sabotage?

Sitewide Moderators have had to intervene to restore MSmg many times. We intervened when there were unlimited owners, we intervened when there was a five owner limit. We came back again to help again. Seems to me that it's inevitable that every time ownership gets handed back to MSmg users, this arkuum type purge has happened, over and over.

For now we just want to get things back up and running smoothly, I appreciate the input from you and all the users here.

It’s become the thing now, I guess. Just copycatting the original arkuum user purge. I know the limit doesn’t prevent it, so it falls to the users. But yeah I agree, any mod or owner comes with risk.
