True, "Team Biden" has done far more damage -- already -- to the United States than the Nazis did to Great Britain, in an economic sense. The stagflation they've created, and are still making worse, will end up being an economic catastrophe for the ages. God only knows how many needless deaths there'll be in coming years, mostly from cold and starvation.
But in this meme, was comparing the damage done by vicious fascists to the damage done by a clueless and malicious ruling elite. In doing so, I used syntax that would be consistent, one with the other. So while the Nazis were unsuccessful in carrying out their wickedness, and "Team Biden" will be COMPLETELY successful, the common word "trying" was the best I could think of.
