It's an attempt to have Biden finishing Trump's wall look like a humanitarian effort....basically the opposite messaging Trump had associated with the same action.

Sure, people could end up drowning in the river... They could also end up breaking their legs going over the wall though so idk.

So how’s your year been so far?

Not too shabby. I finished a relatively big job this year so I've been more flush with $$$ than usual. I was kind of impulse buying sh*t I didn't really need for a bit... Trying to cut back on that now though. People buying sh*t we don't really need despite higher prices and global supply chain issues just contributes to the inflation problem. It was kind of dumb of me but eh....

On the more negative side, a toddler (unvaxxed) in my family caught covid and had to go to the hospital so that was pretty scary.

Also I saw oil prices have come down so maybe I should've sold my oil stonks last month... I guess summers not over yet though.

Well I hope the toddler in your family is doing better at least. I’ll just say my year hasn’t been too eventful, or scary, save for maybe my sister’s boyfriend almost dying in the hospital from kidney failure. Last I heard about it from her is that he was fine now though.

They do seem to be ok now, so that's good.

I don’t particularly like him, but he’s my sister’s boyfriend so I tolerate him for her sake. He’s actually come a long way into treating her right and just being a better man in general than he was a year ago so I really can’t say anything negative about him. I don’t hate the guy though.
