Our story begins at a regular night of the life of a lad named Nicky,
Young Nicky was bisexual, He wasn't so picky.
Chatting with his boyfriend Jack on his phone, Unknown to his parents,
His father was at work, And his mother busy with errands.
Telling Jack, How hard was his secret to keep,
With Jack's cheering, He decided to finally go knee-deep.
As he said that, He turned off his phone and heard the voice of his mother,
"Come down dear, It's time for supper!".
Our lad rushed down the stairs and sat at the table.
Little did he know, The pressure of coming out, Was making him unstable.
His mother noticed, "Is there something bothering you, Dear?",
Nicky, Sweating, Thinking and deciding what is best for his mother to hear.
Missing his chance, The mother puts his plate in front of him to eat,
And when sitting at her own chair, She told him about the young girl she wanted him to meet.
"She's a beauty of your age, Better than spending your time studying with your classmate.",
Realizing quick, Nicky asked his mother "Are you trying to set me up on a blind date?".
She replied "I just don't want you to be lonely dear, I care about you!",
The last word gave Nicky some courage, He knew what he had to do.
He said "Mom, I do more than just studying with Jack.",
His mother went silent as a statue, Set her chair and leaned back.
The room now filled with only with the sound of the clock's tick-tock,
His mom now said with an apathetic tone "Are you finally gonna give me the talk?".
Fear gave chills to Nicky down to his spine, She had gone through his phone, No doubt,
She said "I was walking near a movie theatre when I saw you and Jack come out.".
She continued "I always knew Jack was bad influence.",
Nicky said "No he's not! We were just talking at the entrance!".
She said "He doesn't need his arm around your shoulder to use his mouth.",
Nicky was silent, His mother continued "We're taking you to a new school at south.".
Nicky, Now alarmed, Said quickly "Mom! Please! Jack is not a bad person!",
His mother said "Hiding, Lying, Losing trust of your family, Do you have a good reason?".
Nicky said with a shivering voice "I was scared.",
The mother was shocked, She said "I'm sorry sweetie, I'm your parent, I shouldn't be scaring you, I wasn't prepared.".
Now fear crawled through both of their spines as the heard the front door open,
"I'm home!" said the father back from work, It made them both frozen.
