Yeah, he sucks so hard, no doubt about that. But my personal $0.02 is that he's in that transition stage between having dementia full-time, and being cognizant enough to know he's getting it. So he knows when he's slipping and just bails. Did you see him try to pronounce Paxlovid the other day? Pretty sad, actually. Him remaining in office can't be considered anything other than elder abuse.
