Responsibility for high gas prices is much wider than they think. Putin being a good example of somebody who has some responsibility for this but Republicans won’t dare disrespecting their beloved Tsar.

Gas prices are affected by a ton of factors, and Presidential and frankly U.S. policy as a whole is pretty low down the list. Covid and the Russia-Ukraine War are acute global crises that would have spiked the price of gas even in a world with Trump and a Republican Congress.

Long-range planning to wean ourselves off fossil fuels would certainly help… but guess who hasn’t wanted to do that for decades, lol?

Exactly what I was thinking. If you don’t want there to be a gas crisis, stop using gas period.
