There are people, or there have been, who believed they were trans and later discovered a different gender stance (maybe we would now call them gender fluid rather than trans). But their experiences don't invalidate the realities of thousands of trans people: it just underlines how little our society still understands of the complexities of gender.

“Big pharma and other corporate entities have found a revenue stream
by keeping us sick, both mentally and physically.”
Our society is set up in a way that creates a revenue stream for hospitals, with it being ridiculously hard to have a healthy lifestyle, and they people not being able to afford medication so they have to go back to the hospital over and over again. Transgender people are not apart of it though.

“If it were legitimate and
genuine, people would naturally come to the conclusion that it is”
What kind of logic is this? Do people just have an instinct for all knowledge?

Which is why "everybody knows" is such a terrible basis for logical argument. Right up there with "because I say so".

Ah, Truth is both fickle and immutable. And personal freedom means not allowing others to decide their identities.

And psychologists are not the ones to decide what a mental illness is.

The commenter is good with rhetoric, but not reason.

Yikes, referencing Marxism as a boogeyman. Credibility was already low. That just made it go *poof.*

I mean, by his logic, there are people who believe that there is an invisible man who watches everything that we do of every minute of every day. This invisible man has a divine plan where he knows what we are going to do because he is all knowing, yet he knows that in spite of our free will, what we will do. So essentially, religion imposes the idea on people that they are born broken that they need to be "saved." by a guy who has no problem ending the world to "save it."

We tolerate those beliefs. They aren't true, but we tolerate them. Gender identity ironically has more evidence of its existence than Christianity.

I agree with the fact that Big Pharma is wrong but for different reasons. For me, it has to with the fact that they are forcing people to pay for things that in some cases mean life or death.
