Can I just ask a question as a non furry but non anti furry: what is wrong with furries? I mean, they just are expressing a passion, just like we express passion for things. What’s wrong with it?

Furries and zoophiles are not the same thing and both groups hate them a lot, as you should. Unfortunately zoophiles use furries as a cover up for themselves and that along side with the stupid shit people do in the community, is why we have a bad rep.

As a furry to a non-furry, sometimes some furries do questionable to downright really bad shit. And the fact that zoophiles use us as cover for themselves doesn’t help. Both communities hate them. But from the perspective of an anti-furry, objectively everything most of the time. Just like the lgbtq+, people can take this too far and some even make it their whole personality. So it would depend on the individual you talk to as most furries are pretty normal. In fact, I think one of the top scientists on the Moderna vaccine is a furry.
