anime in a nutshell (c'mon at least make the good guys lose occasionally like star wars)

In all the good movies I watch, the good guys win at the end. They always are super close to losing, then win at the end. The good guys win in every good story, it's just they should make it hard for them to win. It isn't fun to watch without challenges.

Plus in lots of animes, you’re pretty much TOLD who to root for, there are some where the “villains” are actually more sympathetic than the protagonists, sometimes I actually think of the “bad guys” as the real heroes.

There are some cartoons where the heroes feel bad for the villains, understand them, and try to get them to redeem.

I know, but that’s not what happens, the villains usually do not redeem in such situations, in fact sometimes the “heroes” treat people just as bad if not worse than the villains, resorting to morally questionable tactics, dishonesty, etc. to advance their cause, so much so that it makes me question if their cause is even the morally right one.
