Walker is a proven liar, he has a checkered past — he lectured absentee black fathers while being an absentee black father himself, which makes him a hypocrite of the worst kind.
All that is par-for-the-course, and sadly expected of politicians these days, especially Republican ones.
What sets Walker apart even from his dismal company is how manifestly unfit for higher office he is — having already revealed in cringeworthy interview after interview that he has no fully formed thoughts on any pressing political issue, and no apparent desire to learn, either, or even to memorize a few snappy soundbites that could give the false impression of competence.
Republicans picked this guy to run for U.S. Senate in Georgia for no other apparent reason than to have a warm black body to stand against the Democrats’ pick, Raphael Warnock.
That makes him a diversity hire — the genuine article — rather a qualified individual who also happens to be a person of color, the standard Republican insult thrown at Democrats like AOC, Kamala Harris, and Ketanji Brown-Jackson.
Walker’s candidacy for one of the highest offices in the land manifests contempt for black voters and, frankly, all voters.
