"Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-Calif.), a member of the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot, on Friday said former Trump White House counsel Pat Cipollone did not contradict the testimony of previous witnesses when he met with the panel Friday."--The Hill 7-9-22
She said, "he was honest with his answers."
Don't look for his testimony to mirror Cassidy Hutchinson's. The best advice I ever got from a lawyer when I was a government spokesman was, "You should never lie. But that doesn't mean you have to blurt out the truth." Cipollone probably answered questions like a Lawyer, tersely. Hutchinson was more like an essayist, descriptive and complete. If Cipollone did not contradict her testimony, that is a victory for the truth.
