Side note: this is just a theory. | Long ago, in 2008, a man named Dylan Wenzlau created a revolutionary new meme site. However, despite the much rejoicing by memers from all over the globe, one was not so happy. His name? Kidna Per. An old colleague of Dylan'sn, his ambition grew faster than Dylan's, but it always turned out well. Until one day in 2007, a year before the projected release date, Kidna proposed hiring immigrants for cheap wages to create memes, just to keep up the content, the site's traffic, and the overall profit from ads. Dylan, being an ethical business leader, refused. When Kidna tried to pressure him into it, Wenzlau fired him, saying that he would consider giving him back his job once he had cooled his ambitious ego. Kidna boiled inside, but could nothing, since the few investors would surely support Dylan. Fast forward a few years. Kidna came back, seemingly changed. He presented a revolutionary new ai system that he said was, "A harmless and ethical way to drive traffic to the site." He lied. For years, he had been kidnapping memers from imgflip, and forcing them to create memes on demand for his generator. Sleep deprived and occasionally drugged, the memes were largely nonsensical, though sometimes would include a glimmer of truth from the memer's self conscious. The "ai" really stood for acquired individuals. Kidna Per's idea was implemented immediately and applauded. However, Dylan noticed that since the ai generator had been installed, the amount of new memers increased, but old memers started to disappear. He started doing some research, and discovered some evidence Per hadn't cleaned up. Unfortunately, he was smart, and had spiders, bots that combed the internet, scanning search history to find out who was on his trail. When Per found out Dylan's suspicions, Dylan disappeared. Kidna took over the company, and the ai kept running. He pulled hundreds of memers into his staff every year, even taking big names such as Raydog. Iceu was an experiment of his. He had injected Iceu with a newly formulated serum, and Iceu, while keeping his conscious state and continuing to make memes, also made memes for the generator. Dylan among who knows how many others are on the moon right now, mindlessly slaving away at Kidna's iron rule. Hopeless with seemingly no one to save them, they are resigned to their fate. | image tagged in memers, funny memes, moon | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
