To jog your memory- There are 8 elements, 10, if you count Light and Dark.
These are-
Magic, which is spells and sorcery.
Earth, which is rock, dirt, and even crystals and dinosaurs.
Water, which is the sea and can be fish and ice as well.
Fire, which is, well, fire, but also can be volcanoes.
Tech, which is robots and characters with gadgets and gizmos
Undead, which is ghosts and overall spooky monsters.
Air, which can be lightning, the wind, or birds.
Life, which is plants, and also bugs.
And Light and Dark are self-explanatory.

1st Game: Collect all 8 of the Element Sources, restoring the Core Of Light. Defeat Kaos
2nd Game: Giants introduced. Nothing to particularly collect, just defeat Kaos
3rd Game: Swap-able characters introduced. New zones through out every level to use these swap-able characters and their abilities. Defeat Kaos
4th Game: Light & Dark elements introduced. Catchable villain's introduced. Trap Masters introduced. Defeat Kaos
5th Game: Viachles are introduced. Land, Sea and Sky along with their Superchager are. Defeat Kaos
6th Game: Sensei's and CREATABLE SKYLANDERS OF 10 F**KING BATTLE CLASSES. Defeat Kaos

tbh the best song of the first game is "Dark Water Cove"
