The collector would likely attempt to avoid fighting since he prefers not to be enemies with beings of equal or similar power

The collector has hundreds of universes at his disposal, he could easily trap zanthor in one of these universes and destroy it with him inside of things don't go to plan

So the question is
Will zanthor negotiate
Or will he attempt to fight likely causing his death

I don't think you understand, because Zanthor can open portals to other universes so he could easily escape one. Also he has Bill Ciphers eye it itself contains a lot of power. Plus he has cupead's 1st super which in-game can kill the devil himself

There are some things that most multiversal beings have that will help in that situation

Usually the technology I'm about to tell you about is only accessable at the citadel (a hub between universes where travelers trade things)

Anyway

A universal lock
It disables all exits and entrances of the universe it's attached to

This is how the collector wins

Zanthor didn't negotiate
Now he pays the price

This is why the collector doesn't have many enemies throughout the multiverse

Because the only ones that survive are able to break a universal lock

Only beings that are only capable of destruction can break one

Which means since zanthor can create matter he cannot break a universal lock

The only being the collector has met that can break one is Mr void himself

Zanthor can also destroy matter, plus he could just make a microscopic black hole and destroy a universe with a unniversal lock

Universal locks exist outside of the universe their attached to

Anything that happens inside the universe does not affect it

Unless of course you're a being of pure destruction such as Mr void

Which means anything that can create matter cannot break the lock

The lock detaches after the universe is destroyed

That would mean Zanthor would be free since there would be no lock

But he would be dead by the time the lock detaches

Either that or he will meet the same fate as strange supreme from what if

he can summon multiple black hole to destroy universes, or he could shatter the multiverse and make it all one giant universe

That would create a paradox
Because the multiverse is infinite the newly formed universe would be infinitely large

There's a reason that universes are separate

Most universes apply to different laws of physics meaning many parts of the newly formed universe would just be universe sized black holes which since there are infinite of these universes would destroy everything in the newly formed universe

Which would be one way to defeat the collector but he would kill himself in the process

That's why Zanthor retreats to white space after he does

And the reason Zanthor wouldn't negotiate with the Collector is because Zanthor seeks power, and can drain it from any kind of living organism, imena like, how do you think he got so much power

This is why the uno gauntlet wouldn't be useless in this fight

Because he can just use the uno reverse ability and take all of zanthors power

again, he is immune
