Those nips killed hundreds of thousands of civilians plus 100,000 Chinese POWs in Nanking. They never got tried for war crimes since the Americans nuked em. But they still committed the crimes and deny them to this day...

In Nanjing, John Rabe, who was a member of the NAZI PARTY, and worked for Siemens AG, a company which used slave labor in concentration camps, was so disgusted by the Imperial Japanese Army’s actions that he established the Nanjing Safety Zone (which was often violated anyway) to protect civilians. It was so bad, a literal NAZI found it to be too much.

John Rabe used his party status to save POWs in China. He was a nazi in name only sort of an Oskar Schindler for Chinese POWs.
But your point us correct. The warcrimes in China, Korea, the Philippines etcetera where so extreme, the Japanese deny them to this day dispite overwhelming evidence.

Imperial Japan did not consider “outsiders” to be equal, with Chinese and Koreans being de facto treated as lesser beings/subhumans. From adolescence Japanese children were indoctrinated with intense ultranationalism and anti-Chinese racism, and taught to worship Emperor Hirohito as a living god.
