Literally, the Russian economy is a backwater mess and even if the ruble is the highest currency it is still useless in many countries except china and India and the rest of the pre soviet countries.
And most of the foods and resources are not the best in quality.
And if Russia wants to build an economy it must borrow other countries' money and today standers it will be difficult for Russia.
And the sanctions are preventing Russia from prolonging this war by limiting the resources to make tanks, missiles fighting planes Ect.
It might show that European and the west sanctions against russian aren't working, but it's preventing the war that Russia is trying to stretch.
