The bulk of ground-level republicans have forgotten Rule #1 of politics: never take anything on faith.

GOP pundits and their faithful parrots like to blame rising Red-state crime rates on Blue-state exodus... They're right -but not for the reason they believe... Were they not morons, they'd have thought it through and realized it's their GOP brethren fleeing Blue states... Unfortunately, the GOP has proven of late that they don't question what's said if it's what they want to hear.
