Probably, but the simpler and more likely explanation is that the outcome of the election--just like the election that preceded it--was the result of an unexpectedly large group of dumb motherf**kers making their voices heard.

In any case if one election was "rigged", they both were. So either way when El Crappytan's legion of Mindless Abominable Gratuitous Assholes points a finger at the other side, they're conveniently ignoring that their own methods are essentially no different. This type of hypocrisy is pretty much on brand for both parties. Not much for it but to keep calm plug your nose.
