Ight, it’s a bit of a Wings of Fire role play, just with a non-wings of fire dragon species accidentally finding their world

????: alright, come on Abyss, remember you are our prisoner until the war ends.

Abyss: yeah I know, I know.

*the Nightwing speaks up*

???????: so what is this? What are you pulling out of the ocean?

Abyss: I don’t know Stormbringer, it doesn’t look like anything from either continent.

Stormbringer: I don’t get why I’m still surprised when you say anything about the other continent, let’s just get this thing back to the cave before another dragon notices, we can figure it out there.

????: alright Storm, you better help carry this… whatever it is.

ocean: (follows them)

Abyss: Inferna, I think there is a dragon behind you.

*Inferna takes a deep breath, she looks like she was expecting a Skywing, she then turns around*

Inferna: oh, you’re another seawing.

Stormbringer: hm…

ocean: uhhhh... hi?

Inferna: you better come with us, I don’t care if this war is about to end, I don’t want some other skywing to take you back to Scarlet’s arena, just incase Queen Ruby is just a deception tactic.

ocean: fine.

Inferna: I don’t report to either one anymore, I might as just say in a deserter.

Stormbringer: didn’t you actually desert when the kingdom was still under Scarlet’s rule?

Inferna: no one needed to know that. Anyways, you ready?

Abyss: let’s go. *the three of them jump into the air, Inferna flies below them incase they drop the strange dragon*

ocean:(follows)

Inferna: so who are you? What are you doing here?

ocean: im ocean. and ive just been exploring the continent.

Inferna: bit of a bad time to be exploring… anyways nice to meet you Ocean, I’m Inferna. Hopefully the war ends soon though.

ocean: im not fighting because all the sandwing queen options are terrible

Inferna: I like the way you think, I also believe they are all bad.

ocean: why should we care about their stupid queen?

Stormbringer: that queen could potentially declare war on your kingdom, and you would be forced to fight. Furthermore, alliances mean a lot.

Inferna: unfortunately… that’s true.

ocean: yeah..

Inferna: we’re coming up on the cave, I’ll guide you all in.

Stormbringer: ready when you are.

ocean: ready

*You and Inferna land on the cliff ledge, Inferna has to guide Abyss and Stormbringer down to get them to land safely*

Stormbringer: you alright there Abyss? You almost dropped it.

Abyss: *wheezing* I’m fine… just need.. to rest…

Inferna: alright, in you go.

Abyss: WAIT, STOP.

*Inferna drags Abyss into the cave*

Stormbringer: you could have gave him a chance to stand up.

Inferna: *form inside the cave, you couldn’t see her* would have taken to long.

ocean: ...(goes into cave)

*Inferna pushes passed you to get out, there is barely room for two dragons next to each other in the pathway*

Inferna: sorry… the rest are in there, Stormbringer and I are going to carry that dragon in.

Mistral: Huh.

*they didn’t initially notice Mistral*

????: alright, come on Abyss, remember you are our prisoner until the war ends.

Abyss: yeah I know, I know.

???????: so what is this? What are you pulling out of the ocean?

Abyss: I don’t know Stormbringer, it doesn’t look like anything from either continent.

Stormbringer: I don’t get why I’m still surprised when you say anything about the other continent, let’s just get this thing back to the cave before another dragon notices, we can figure it out there.

????: alright Storm, you better help carry this… whatever it is.

Abyss: uh… I think we’re too late for not letting another dragon notice Storm.

*Stormbringer turns around and spots Mistral, then he jumps back*

Mistral: *she jumps as well* "!!!"

????: three moons, what’s the matter with you Storm?

Stormbringer: Inferna, do you not know nightwings and Icewings are sworn enemies?

Inferna: of course I know that, I’m not brainless.

Abyss: hey, icewing, what’s your name?

*Stormbringer helps pick up whatever they were carrying. It looked like some creature, maybe even another dragon.*

Stormbringer: let’s go Abyss.

*Inferna facepalms*

Mistral: "Uhhmm....Mistral..."

Abyss: nice to meet you Mistral. *Whispering to Stormbringer now* Being nice goes a long way.

Stormbringer: *whispering back* I’m afraid they’ll just kill me before I get a chance to say anything.

Abyss: well they haven’t yet…

*Stormbringer stares off into space*

Inferna: … Alright Mistral, I would like to take you in, but I’m not so sure I’d love to have another Arena Incident. You may come back with us if you want.

Stormbringer: *Talking loudly so that everyone could hear* … sorry for my outburst.

*Abyss whispers to him again*

Abyss: good effort, but work in your timing..

Mistral: *she shyly smiles at them*
"I'm not like other Icewings...!"

*Stormbringer eased up a little but he still looked tense, like something bad was going to happen, looks like he’s keeping his guard up regardless*

Abyss: you want to come with us? Maybe we can figure out what this creature is together.

Inferna: what do you think it is anyway?

Abyss: I don’t know, looks like a dragon, so I’m assuming it’s a dragon.

Inferna: … anyways, Mistral, if you come with us, I may have to hold you as another prisoner, even if it’s just for a day. Sorry. *she shrugged.*

Mistral: " Ah, no worries! I'll follow, if you guys don't mind... if you don't want me to, then I won't... "

Abyss: it’s fine.

Inferna: I think the only one here who—

Stormbringer: I’m completely ok with this.

Inferna: that makes three of us then, you can come if you want to.

Mistral: "Alright then!"

Stormbringer: Abyss, we lift on three ok?

Abyss: ready.

Stormbringer: one… two… three… *They both lift the creature up into the air*

Inferna: do you guys need help carrying it?

Stormbringer: no…. No I’ve got this.

Abyss: let’s just hurry before we drop it.

*Inferna jumps up into the air, she flies beneath them so she can catch the dragon if it falls*

Mistral: *she jumps up and flies beside them*

Inferna: I’m assuming your from the ice kingdom, right?

Mistral: "Mhm."

Inferna: I’m only asking because when I took Abyss into custody here, there was an icewing and two dragons calling themselves leafwings with them. The icewing says she comes from the ice kingdom, but a Sandwing I know also seems to know who she is. He won’t give me any information. I assume they’re old friends.

Mistral: " Huh... "

Inferna: I don’t know anything besides that. Personally I find it weird myself.

*the four of you fly on until you find a cave, if had a view of the water, whatever crashed into the ocean was now fully dissolved or disappeared, if it was some kind of machine, there wasn’t even an oil or nuclear radiation leak remaining behind*

*Stormbringer and Abyss land as gently as possible with Inferna guiding them. Abyss looked too tired to move so Inferna dragged him in, Stormbringer dragged the other creature inside, in the torch light it was easier to see the creature, they definetly looked like a dragon, all white scales, it’s tail was split at the end, you didn’t get a chance to see much else, there were numerous injuries however. You noticed a piece of metal plating stabbing them through the underbelly, near the upper chest area, luckily it seems to have missed the internal organs.*

Inferna: Yikes…

Stormbringer: that doesn’t look good.

*Abyss was dragged further into the cave already, Inferna picks up the other side of the dragon*

Stormbringer: careful, watch it’s tail.

Inferna: this isn’t like anything I’ve seen before.

Stormbringer: maybe the leafwings know.

Mistral: "Agh..."

*You walk for a little bit, you find a room with two leafwings, a sandwing, a rainwing, an icewing, and Abyss*

??????: Three moons what is that?

Abyss: that’s what we’re trying to figure out, Blizzard.

???: definetly not a hivewing or a silkwing, and definetly not a leafwing. Nothing I’ve seen before.

Inferna: I guess that confirms the leafwings don’t know. Thanks Ivy. Mirage get over here. *the Sandwing takes over for Stormbringer*

Mirage: where did you get this?

Inferna: Stormbringer and I took Abyss to get them out of the water.

Mirage: so, we’re taking it further into the cave?

Inferna: yep. Mistral, the icewing is Blizzard, the two leafwings are Ivy and Leafstorm, the rainwing’s name is Cascade, she’s friends with Storm here, and you already know Abyss.

Mirage: I’m Mirage, we’ll be right back. *They walk further into the cave, to a separate room nearby*

Blizzard: anyone got any ideas as to what that is?

Cascade: no clue, anyways, who is the icewing?

Mistral: *mind: Didn't Inferna answer that...?*

Ivy: we’re you paying attention?

Cascade: I was a little more focused on that weird dragon they were carrying, sorry.

Abyss: her name is Mistral.

Cascade: thank you.

Stormbringer: she saw us pull that strange creature out of the water, I’m surprised it’s still alive.

Mistral: " Huh... "

Stormbringer: the dragon… it’s still alive, I was pretty sure it was still breathing.. it’s not easy to survive being underwater for thirty minutes unless you’re either a seawing or a mudwing. Not to mention it was also stabbed by something.

Abyss: Inferna know’s more, she saw the actual crash.

Stormbringer: I saw it too, we were switching off guarding the cave when it happened. Something entered the atmosphere and started breaking up, like it was dissolving or something, all we saw were flames, smoke, and pieces of it falling off and disintegrating mid air. Inferna thought she saw something running along it and it jumped off to try to avoid being killed. She saw it jumping from piece to piece before it finally attempted to leave the crash zone. By that point it was already engulfed in flames. It looked like it got hit by something too.

Blizzard: that’s a strange story… and crash.

Mistral: " Mhm... "

Blizzard: I find that had to believe.

Stormbringer: Inferna can confirm it, ask her.

Cascade: that does sound a little outlandish. Almost any dragon would have seen that.

Stormbringer: the trajectory of whatever crashed made it seem like it went right over the rainforest, so at least the nightwings and rainwings would have seen it, maybe even some seawings. It seems a little crazy, but I swear that’s what happened.

*the dragon called Leafstorm seems to know something but isn’t saying anything, they just look sort of confused, maybe even a little panicked*

Leafstorm: … Ivy, can we step outside for a moment?

*Ivy took one look at their face and understood immediately*

Ivy: alright, let’s go, excuse us Mistral. *They step outside*

Abyss: alright, I’m personally too tired to talk about this. Mistral, what’s it like in the Ice kingdom? I’ve only ever been there once, mostly on accident.

Mistral: "It's fine, most dragons there are a bit...agressive, or snotty..."

Abyss: really? I mean, the only two Icewings I’ve really met are you and Blizzard here.

Blizzard: this seawing actually saved me from drowning when I got knocked out during a battle. I was fighting Skywings at the time.

Mistral: "Ah."

Abyss: I wish I could have saved more dragons but I was afraid I would have been caught. I pulled her onto an ice burg. She didn’t wake up until we were halfway across the ocean.

Mistral: Oh...

Blizzard: otherwise I would have returned to fight, I haven’t been on this continent for a while.

Mistral: Huh.

Blizzard: yeah. Been way too long, we ended up landing here, where Abyss was first captured. Thankfully we got lucky, I thought Inferna would send us to the arena for sure.

Mistral: Ah. I see.

Blizzard: I wonder what we’ve missed.

Mistral: Yeah...hmm...

Abyss: I’ve heard talk of the dragonets who would stop the war… but I’m not sure if anything happened.

Cascade: … I think we should explain everything later, also one of the dragonets is a rainwing, there is no skywing as far as we know. That’s as much as I’m going to say right now, the war should end soon.

Blizzard: really?

Stormbringer: yeah. Ivy and Leafstorm have been out there a long time. Someone should go check on em.

Mistral: I will.

*you walk back towards the entrance, you hear something going on*

Ivy: … it’s probably for the best no one knows who you two are currently, but we should get her back to your world as soon as possible.

Leafstorm: she should be fine… but this is strange… I’m not sure how she ended up here.

Ivy: best we keep this to ourselves. If anyone finds out how dangerous she really is—

Leafstorm: she’s nowhere near as dangerous as you think. Let’s head inside before they get too worried.

*They head back inside the cave, Ivy bumps into Mistral*

Ivy: woops…… you should probably not mention what we were talking about to the others.

Mistral: Oh, uh, I won't.

Ivy: I’m going to hope we have the wrong dragon….

Leafstorm: I’m hoping it’s actually her. It has to be. There is no way in the dune sea that isn’t her.

Ivy: by the trees, quit freaking out, your going to tip someone off.

Mistral: *just listening in*

*The three of you walk back into the room after Leafstorm calms down, Mirage and Inferna were both back in the room as well.*

Mistral: So...

Inferna: we’re not sure how, but that dragon
is alive. Especially after what Storm and I saw.

Cascade: do you think she’s gonna wake up?

Mirage: not soon I wouldn’t think. Must have been hit in the head pretty hard. Especially at a fall like that.

Stormbringer: hm…

Mistral: *stretches*

*Blizzard gets up*

Blizzard: I’ll go check on them.

Abyss: be careful.

Blizzard: when have I ever not been careful. *she smiles as she said that, as if it was a joke between them*

Abyss: *he laughs a little* seriously, be careful.

Ivy: I would definitely be careful around this dragon if I were you, Blizzard.

Blizzard: I’ll be fine.

*Blizzard walks into the other room with the strange dragon*

Mistral: Hmm.

*Blizzard turned around the corner and disappeared*

Inferna: alright, I’m thinking of taking you all to Burn’s stronghold/palace, whatever, when the dragonets go there. If what Cascade has told me is correct, this would be the end of the war.

Stormbringer: if it isn’t?

Inferna: my decision was stupid, and we’ed all pretty much die or be captured, I’d see little chance at all of us somehow escaping together if a battle were to take place.

Mistral: *her ears droop*

Cascade: that’s not going to happen.

Inferna: I know they called all of the queens to one place, but it would be smart for either Blister or Burn to kill the other two and capture the dragonets right there, that’s my main concern, if that happens that might turn into a battle. I don’t expect it to happen but I might as well have a plan in case it did.

Mirage: I can get you all out, my main concern there would be Blizzard, she might decide to join the fight.

Inferna: eh.. I see your point.

Stormbringer: a fight will not happen.

Cascade: what?

Stormbringer: there will be no battle, I’m sure of it.

Inferna: ?

Mirage: how do you know?

Mistral: *mind: Can he predict the future?*

Stormbringer: think about it, the moment one of them attacks the dragonets there would be chaos, it’s likely all three would be killed if that happened, which would mean all of the tribes have been fighting for nothing. Blaze is too incompetent so I don’t expect her to try this, but the other two might. And they’re smart enough to realize it’s not worth it if they do.

Cascade: that actually makes sense, especially if all of the other tribes show up.

Inferna: Well, it would be just their queens and maybe a small band of the tribe to guard them most likely, but there would be a lot of dragons there.

Abyss: that’s a good point Stormbringer.

Mistral: mhm...

Mirage: hm… I think it’ll be—

*moments later you see blizzard get thrown against the wall, she runs back towards you, she seems to be very injured but healing quickly at the same time, there are several broken bones

Blizzard: yep, she’s up…

*Everyone jumps to they’re feet and get ready to fight considering what just happened*

Ivy: *whispering to Leafstorm* I think you spoke a little too soon.

Stormbringer: Three moons, what happened?!

Blizzard: she woke up, panicked when she saw me, and threw me against the wall just now, managed to get this off her. *you look down, it looks like a sword hilt, but there is no extension, it looks like very advanced technology*

Inferna: good job quick claws, you stole a cylinder.

Blizzard: I think it’s a weapon, take it but don’t mess with it. *she tosses it to Inferna*

*you hear screaming coming from the room, sounds like it’s in pain, moments later, the piece of metal that was stuck inside the strange dragon was thrown so hard into the cave wall it actually cut open a hole and stuck there*

Mirage: I don’t like this, should we run?

Inferna: she’s outnumbered and she doesn’t know it, hold your positions.

Stormbringer: … listen to Inferna, but be calm.

Blizzard: what?! I’m supposed to remain calm?! I could have been killed!

Mistral: *walks over to the dragon* Hey, hey, calm down...it's okay...

*they don’t calm down, they stand up like a scavenger, two shields appear on her arms, one of which turns into a sword, they clearly did not understand you*

Inferna: THREE MOONS, WHAT THE—

Blizzard: MISTRAL GET BACK!

*Stormbringer actually pulled Mistral back to the group, the dragon held the sword raised as if it were going to strike, then they lowered it, both shields disappeared, and then she stands like a normal dragon again, she rubs her head with one talon, then says something none of you seemed to understand. Except for Leafstorm. Abyss pulled out translation scroll out of a bag and slid it over to the dragon along with something to write with, the dragon just looked at you all confused*

Inferna: did that dragon just speak human?

Mirage: doesn’t seem to understand dragon.

Mistral: What if we bow down, and show respect...?

Stormbringer: I think they’ll just be more confused.

*the dragon started writing on the scroll, in human it seemed, then it saw the translation appearing seemed excited, there was another bag she was carrying, she set it down pulled out some kind of tool and scanned the translation. The device she used allowed her to translate, and she learned surprisingly fast.*

???: uh… sorry about.. throwing you against the wall there… and for almost killing you *she looked at both Mistral and Blizzard*. Nice scroll by the way, is it magic? *she handed it back* … where am I?

Mirage: woah woah woah.. slow down.

Blizzard: WHAT IN THE—

Inferna: BLIZZARD.

Stormbringer: can you two stop?

Mistral: *she smiles at the dragon*

Abyss: about the scroll, yeah that was magic.

*The dragon messes with whatever she was wearing on her arm.*

???: that’s not good…

Blizzard: what?

???: my wrist comm is broken. Or some of its functions are broken, at least it can do this. *She presses a button and it brings up the whole planet, but only their area is filled in with land and sea* huh.. strange. Im in uncharted territory… guess I’ll need to explore the planet myself. Unless you guys have a map. At least I have your language logged, you guys call it “Dragon” right?

Ivy: sorry, but I don’t have a map of my continent with me.

Mistral: Wait! *she opens her bundle and pulls out a map of Pantala, then hands it to ??? * Would this help?

???: yep.. thank you. *She scans the map, Pantala as a whole now shows up on the other side of the planet and all islands listed on the map, it’s glitching a little but it’s translating everything to dragon and human*

Inferna: wow.. that’s…

Mirage: cool? Amazing?

Inferna: I’m just surprised.

???: oh, thanks for holding on to that. *she saw Inferna holding the device Blizzard took, instead of walking over to grab it, she pointed the wrist comm at her and shot what appeared to be a grappling hook, it hooked onto the device and pulled it back to the dragon without hitting Infena*

Inferna: hey!

???: sorry, I can’t let it fall into anyone else’s hands… or talons in this case.

Mistral: Hmm.

???: so uh… who are you? *she didn’t seem to recognize Leafstorm, but it might be because of his leafwing disguise*

Stormbringer: how about you tell us your name first?

???: that’s fair, I did just attack you now. Sorry for that again. I’m Stardust. You guys are probably the first dragon’s I’ve ever met.

Mistral: Ah, nice to meet you, I'm Mistral!

Stormbringer: I’m Stormbringer. I’m a Nightwing.

Cascade: I’m Cascade, I’m a rainwing.

Inferna: I’m Inferna, the sandwing next to me is Mirage. I’m a Skywing.

Blizzard: …

Abyss: My name is Abyss. I’m a seawing, the two leafwings name’s are Ivy and Leafstorm.

Ivy: I’m actually a hybrid, I’m a leafwing and Hivewing.

Stardust: … so are those just different subspecies of dragon or are those names just to differentiate between governing bodies like kingdoms, maybe both?

Blizzard: hm…

Stormbringer: wait.. you have no idea about our tribes?

Stardust: no. Again, you guys are the first dragons I’ve met, I’ve never even seen my parents. *Leafstorm looked surprised when she said this* Also, the other snowy dragon, what’s your name you didn’t tell me.

Blizzard: I’m an icewing, my name’s Blizzard.

Mistral: I'm also an icewing, and I'm Mistral.

Stardust: well it’s nice to meet you all… wait, is the starship still intact? At least part of it?

Inferna: is that what crashed into the ocean? If so there is nothing left besides a few pieces of metal.

Stardust: huh… well that’s good for your planet’s environment, and good for me in a way, but also bad for me because now I’m stuck here.

Stormbringer: first of all, tell us what a starship is.

Stardust: … a starship is a machine that can fly through space and in the air, some are even adapted to go underwater via special shielding or other modifications. Starships can range in size from as tiny as you and me to larger than moons or even planets in some cases. Usually they’ll have a hyperdrive equipped which allows the starfighter to travel faster than light, which then allows for short trips between star systems such as this one. What you just saw crash was a small portion of a star destroyer, and one I was being held prisoner on, but I can tell you that later.

*Blizzard looked at her suspiciously*

Cascade: I’m going to pretend like I understood a word you just said and—

Stardust: it’s fine if you don’t understand.

Stormbringer: you’ve said you haven’t met your parents, how old are you?

Stardust: around 4 years, give or take because of a planet’s rotation and speed of orbit. I’ve been using earth years, a day is 24 hours, the time it takes to complete an orbit around its star about 365 days.

Leafstorm: *Muttering* impossible.

Mistral: Huh...

Stardust: so.. what’s this planets name? I’m assuming you have one for it considering there appear to be multiple civilizations here.

Mistral: Uhhhh.

Stormbringer: … we.. also call it earth… (they do say what the planet name is in the books, right? I completely forgot despite reading them)

Inferna: what will actually matter is that the two continents are called Pyhrria and Pantala.

Stardust: thank you.

Mistral: *looks around*

Stardust: I’m gonna be honest, seeing a dragon pull a large chunk of metal out of their body when they should have been killed by it must be surprising. Sorry if I made any of you all scared. I should probably be on my way.

Inferna: I don’t think that’s such a good idea.

Blizzard: hang on, I want to know why you were a prisoner. Why should we believe you?

Stardust: … I guess you can’t really believe me, that’s up too you, but I have no idea where I am, nor your technological capability. I just don’t want to hurt anyone. As to why I was a prisoner, I guess I said a little too much. I was a prisoner of war, I thought they were just gonna execute me.

Blizzard: “they?”

Stardust: you don’t want to know.

Mistral: I wanna...

Stardust: I’m serious, you don’t want to know.

Mistral: Alright...

Blizzard: I’m also wondering how your wound is almost healed, you were stabbed pretty bad weren’t you…

*Blizzard was right, it was hard to see but the wound was almost patched up, like nothing ever happened*

Stardust: oh… you noticed that.. yeah, I can do that.

Mistral: Huh.

Stardust: it’s rapid regeneration. I don’t know, but apparently I can do it. It doesn’t work during a fight though, it kind of happens at random times.

Inferna: that’s honestly strange…

Stardust: well, why shouldn’t I leave the cave?

Blizzard: … anyone else want to tell them?

Stormbringer: we’ve been at war for 20 years, the whole continent is involved.

Mistral: Mhm.

Stardust: ah, world wars… that sounds fun.. *she was speaking sarcastically*

Blizzard: wait, this has happened to you?

*Stardust is debating how much she should tell you*

Stardust: … similar events have happened on other planets, some even have multiple world wars.

Blizzard: that didn’t answer my question.

Stardust: I know, and I don’t intend on answering it right now.

Mistral: *she yawned and stretched*

Stardust: yeah, I need to rest too.

Cascade: I already like this dragon.

Blizzard: … I’m not going to ignore the fact you almost killed me, but I think we all agree we all need rest.

Inferna: Stormbringer, you want first watch again?

Stormbringer: all yours.

Inferna: ugh.. fine. *she walks outside*

Mistral: *she walks outside and sits next to Inferna*

Inferna: ?

Mistral: *looks at Inferna and smiles*

Inferna: *she gives Mistral a weak smile back before turning her attention back to the stars*

Mistral: Are you okay...?

Inferna: me myself? Being honest, Blizzard really bugs me. And I feel sort of guilty for not telling Abyss about some of the other recent events, like our raid on the summer palace.

Mistral: Oh...

Inferna: you see that iceberg drifting away? Abyss and Blizzard were stuck drifting through the ocean for half a year, they landed in some place called the poison jungle, met Ivy and Leafstorm, and used the iceberg to drift back and landed here, they started their journey in the Ice kingdom too, western end. They know nothing besides rumors of the dragonets, and I’ve been withholding information..

Mistral: Ah...

Inferna: I’m going to tell Cascade and Stormbringer to explain everything tomorrow, Cascade has at least met the dragonets personally, and Stormbringer escaping the Nightwing island by himself got him some recognition whether he wanted it or not… the two of them have been friends since they were about a year old.

Mistral: Okay.

Inferna: I have to worry about not just them, but myself too. I have my own secrets to keep. Including keeping Blizzard and Abyss secret until the war is over which hopefully should be soon.

Mistral: Ah, I see.

Inferna: .. so tell me about yourself, have you met Blizzard at all? She doesn’t really tell us much about herself, which is part of what bugs me.

Mistral: *shakes head no, and shrugs her wings*

Inferna: well that was very helpful. Makes sense.. I always think that she never actually grew up in the Ice kingdom.

Mistral: Huh...

Inferna: I’m talking about Blizzard… the only thing she told us was that she was forced into the army about 2 years ago, fought her first and second battles over a year ago before being knocked out and traveling to the poison jungle with Abyss.

Mistral: I'm sorry, I have nothing much to say about that...

Inferna: it’s fine, I was just hoping you would know her, and maybe give us more information. Mirage seems to know Blizzard, maybe I’ll start asking him since we’re good friends now.

Mistral: Ah, well, not very much...

Inferna: hm… thank you anyways.

Mistral: Mhm...

*Inferna looks at sky again, it’s now probably midnight, you both hear something leaving the cave, Inferna turns around to see Stardust*

Stardust: oh… I forgot someone was keeping watch.. Inferna.. right?

Inferna: correct, also I thought you were tired?

Stardust: that was a lie.

Mistral: Uhhh.

Inferna: you should head back inside, I don’t want another skywing to find you, or a Sandwing soldier, burn would try to kill you and put you in her little tower of terrors and oddities or whatever she calls it now.

Stardust: heh.. she can try.

Inferna: are you implying that you could kill her?

Stardust: probably… I’ve taken out worse..

Inferna: what are you saying?

Stardust: you saw the thing that crashed here? That was because of me. Also, hey Mistral.

Mistral: *waves*

Stardust: look.. I’m not planning on doing anything. I’m only going to make sure nothing is left of the starship. Maybe I might fly around the planet tomorrow.

Inferna: … alright, but I’m coming with you. Mistral?

Mistral: I'll...come with...

Stardust: just be careful. I’m not sure if anything else escaped that with me.

Inferna: Is that bad if it did?

Stardust: yes, if that starship had other creatures on it, they could invade and multiply left unchecked, which I doubt. I’m thinking maybe something that wants to kill me got out before the remnants of the destroyer were finally… well… destroyed.

Inferna: great… I’ll put Mirage on watch. *she walks back into the cave, she comes back with a tired sandwing*

Mirage: so that’s who I heard get up… yeah sure I’ll watch the cave while you three are gone.

Inferna: thank you. Lead the way Stardust.

Stardust: how fast can you all fly?

Inferna: uh…. Skywings are the fastest fliers.

Stardust: that wasn’t the question. I need to know if you guys can also break sonic speeds?

Inferna: woah woah woah, you can fly faster than the speed of sound?

Stardust: I’ve.. maybe broken that once or twice… Just try to keep up.

Mistral: Uhhhhh. Okay....

Stardust: are you ready?

Inferna: I’m ready.

Mistral: Ready...

*Stardust doesn’t give you any warning, she jumps straight up into the air at almost a hundred miles an hour, she does a flip before leveling out into a glide*

Inferna: huh, she is quick, better not lose her.

*Inferna dives off the cliff and flies as fast as she could attempting to catch up*

Mistral: *she jumps up, and flies after as fast as she can*

*Stardust slows down for you all to catch up, then you three continue as a group, you eventually make over to the spot the starship crashed*

Inferna: I don’t see anything…

Stardust: nothing underwater either.

Inferna: how do you know?

Stardust: well a magician doesn’t reveal all of their secrets.

Mistral: *looks around*

Stardust: hm… where did Abyss find me?

Inferna: he dragged you up to the beach, as a seawing, he is the only one who can breath underwater and on land, unfortunately for his tribe, he doesn’t get fire or ice breath, or the rainwing venom. As for where he found you, it was fairly close to the shore.

Stardust: hm… give me a second. *she dives underwater*

Inferna: oh, you sneaky dragon.

*Some of stardust’s scales light up to show you where she is, she doesn’t appear to be trying to escape*

Inferna: … nevermind.

Mistral: Huh.

Inferna: I don’t know how but they’re mimicking rainwing scales. Wait a minute what’s this?

*something was drifting through the water, barely larger than a scavenger head, a little longer maybe, it appeared to be made of some metal, something that looked like poles were sticking out near the front, it looked like two barrels from guns attached too whatever the device was, Inferna picked it up and examined it closely while Stardust continue to drift through the water*

Inferna: … it’s some kind of metal shell to something.. this appears to be some sort of weapon? Maybe it fell out of the… what was the word, starship? Maybe it fell out of that before the crash.

Mistral: Possibly.

Inferna: maybe it— *suddenly Stardust jumps out of the water, almost knocking Inferna in, and snatches the device, she then stuck what looked like to be a dagger in it, and threw it up into the air where it exploded and disintegrated in blue flames*

Inferna: WHAT THE- ARE YOU CRAZY?

Stardust: I didn’t want it to activate itself and kill you… *she looked sorry*

Mistral: Was it gonna explode?

Stardust: I was afraid it would actually shoot you, laser bolts are no joke, trust me. It can pierce through your scull and brain in a matter of seconds, just like a metal bullet. You also have stun bolts, that prevent most movement besides talking and breathing, which is effective if you don’t want to damage machinery. They’re significantly weaker. I didn’t want to come back up to find you guys dead.

Inferna: … understandable..

Stardust: and yes, it did have to potential to explode. I also didn’t find anything, we should head back, I think that was the only machine here.

Mistral: *nods one time*

*the three of you fly back to shore before your wings get too tired to carry you*

Stardust: I’m going to land down there for a little bit I almost forgot about this, I’m glad I brought it with me now, *she holds out what appears to be another device, it just looks like a regular metal orb with a few buttons on it and a screen* it’s a distress beacon. I thought it would be useless. The thing is, I can take it apart for some parts to fix my wrist comm. It would be better to do it in the cave but I think we should give your wings a rest, you’ve been flying in the same area for quite some time.

Inferna: heh, please I’m a Skywing. Flying is in my blood.

Stardust: alright, if you wish to continue…

Mistral: I'll continue too.

Stardust: onward it is.

*you make it back to the cave, it’s now well past midnight, and Mirage is asleep*

Inferna: hey Mirage… Mirage?

*Inferna shakes Mirage a little to get him up*

Mirage: wha-… huh?

Inferna: go inside and get some rest.

Mirage: oh.. *yawning* you’re back… alright. *he slowly walks back into the cave.*

Inferna: well, I hope that device gives you what you need.

Stardust: I hope so too.

…

Inferna: Stardust..?

Stardust: … MOVE! *she shoved Inferna out of the way, however she took the hit for Inferna. Something hit Stardust and held her pinned against the wall, it definitely looked like a dragon, but it was all metal plating and had a red glow for eyes, it’s wings had an orange hexagonal pattern, and they were see through, blood was already dripping from Stardust’s shoulder*

Mistral: *tackles the dragon*

*it still hangs on to Stardust despite being tackled, it moved several feet over and rolled to throw Mistral off, Stardust managed to stab it with her tail, then rolled forwards, throwing the dragon and recovering from being pinned to the wall, Inferna used her fire breath on it, but it didn’t do much*

Stardust: argh… that’s what I was checking for.. to see if one of those machine dragons made it off.

Inferna: why did they imprison you?

Stardust: long story short, I’m involved in my own war that was started because off my very existence. That’s all we know.

Inferna: we?!

Stardust: no time to explain.

Mistral: *she uses her ice breath on it*

*You manage to freeze some of the joints and it flies down its movement, it can no longer fly, Stardust reached forward and tears through part of the metal with he claw, her shield reappeared on her arm, it changes form to have more of a saw like edge, it begins to spin and she throws it at the metal dragon, sawed it in half, the head was still active though, it made one last ditch attempt to use some sort of breath like attack. Stardust got behind it and sliced it at the middle of the neck before it even had the chance to use it*

Sustained injuries:

Stardust = broken wing, cuts on her back, shoulder, and underbelly, bleeding a lot.

Inferna = a cut on her side.

Mistral = (your choice)

*Stardust looked like she was about to faint, she ripped out some of the wiring and another device that seemed to hold some energy or power and planted something in each separate piece of the metal dragon device thing, Inferna had to drag her back, you saw Blizzard in the cave entrance, she looked like she had only seen the last part of the fight*

(A scratch on her back)
Mistral: *panting*

Blizzard: three moons, what happened here?

Inferna: that weird dragon thing attacked us.. it’s not real. It’s some type of machine.

Blizzard: are there any more of them?

Stardust: … we’re.. safe.. *heavy breathing* no more.. *she drifts back to sleep*

Inferna: get me some bandages. Now!

Blizzard: on it.

*Stardust’s rapid regeneration doesn’t seem to kick in*

Inferna: Mistral, are you alright?

Mistral: ...Yeah...

Inferna: can you help me get Stardust back inside?

Mistral: Sure.

*Inferna picks up the back of Stardust*

Mistral: *picks up the front*

Inferna: alright, let’s— *there was a large explosion right behind you, you weren’t injured and neither was Inferna, but the metal dragon had either blown up in what looked like blue flames or whatever remained disintegrated, the plants and grass seemed to be unaffected* … alright, we’re fine, that scared me a little… let’s get her inside.

*Blizzard rushed back out*

Blizzard: I have the bandages.

Inferna: great, we’ll carry her in and you can patch her up.

Blizzard: alright.

Mistral: *she slowly walks in*

*You and Inferna carry Stardust in, by that point, everyone was awake again because of the fighting outside*

Cascade: I told you she would try to escape.

Inferna: no she didn’t, we fought together.

Stormbringer: against what?

Blizzard: you wouldn’t believe her if she told you.

Mistral: Hmm.

*Blizzard starts applying bandages to Stardust*

Inferna: I suggest we get some rest…

Mistral: Yeah.

Inferna: alright… hey.. thanks for helping us… If it weren’t for you, this might have ended a different way. Stardust and I probably would have died.

Mistral: Mhm...

*Everyone tries to rest, even Inferna and Blizzard with no one guarding, you’re welcome to fly away or stay, each presents a different ending*

Mistral: *sighs, then lies down*

*When you wake up, Stormbringer and Cascade were explaining the recent events to Abyss and Blizzard, apparently they still didn’t know about the dragonets, Inferna also seemed to be up, but she seemed more tired then everyone else*

Abyss: you let the Skywings fire bomb the Summer Palace?!

Inferna: that wasn’t my fault, nor was that my call!! Clearly someone doesn’t understand anything about orders or war. I was also not involved, though I was unfortunately there.

Blizzard: I understand.. a lot of things happen in war that we don’t want to happen Abyss, you were guarding an island were you not?

Abyss: … yes

Blizzard: than you have at least some military background…

Abyss: it was more of a “my family lives here, we need someone to warn us so we can protect our home” sort of thing, I was never involved in any army.

Mirage: I know how that is, Abyss.

*Ivy dashed in from the other room in the cave that was separated by a single wall*

Ivy: I’m worried about Stardust, she’s lost way too much blood. Her breathing has become a little heavy and strained.

Inferna: … I’ll go check on her.

Mirage: Inferna, you need some rest, you stayed up all night watching her. I’ll check. Stormbringer, continue.

*Stormbringer nodded and continued on to another event, where he saved Cascade from being taken by some other nightwings only to get caught himself, the only one who wasn’t up besides Stardust was Leafstorm*

Mistral: *she starts slowly waking up*

*Mirage came back*

Mirage: she’ll be fine, I’m surprised she woke up so quickly when you first brought her here. Maybe it would go more quickly with the healing ring, you gave it to her right?

*dead silence, then Blizzard sighs and takes her off her talons, she hands a silver ring to Mirage*

Inferna: I didn’t want to *Yawn* wake anyone… *she’s falling asleep now*

Mirage: thanks Blizzard.

Blizzard: no problem.

Mistral: *her head slowly rises as she looks around*

Mirage: Cascade, can you watch over Inferna? Oh hey Mistral, your awake, Cascade and Stormbringer are explaining everything that Abyss and Blizzard missed.

Mistral: Ah. *she slowly sits up*

*Stormbringer and Cascade were now explaining what happened during the rainwing raid on the Nightwing fortress*

Cascade: after saving me a few months back Stormbringer got kidnapped by a Nightwing, believe it or not in the middle of my village. He spent like three months in a cell because a crazy Nightwing thought he could read minds. I kid you not, like 2 days before the raid, he bursts out of the magic cave and trips, some tall Nightwing with a spear was only 2 seconds behind. Stormbringer actually managed to beat them in combat without a weapon after ripping their spear away from them, whoever the dragon was, they retreated.

Stormbringer: then I asked if I could join them in raiding the fortress, my own little revenge. I stole some blueprints and a map from them so that was my contribution, and I did join them until I got knocked out by a sleeping dart, just as the volcano was beginning to erupt.

Cascade: I had to carry him back through the tunnel. We think it was the same dragon that he fought managed to steal a blow dart gun and a couple of sleeping darts. I didn’t see a single rainwing use theirs when it happened.

Blizzard: you sure it wasn’t an accidental shot?

Cascade: could have been, he snuck in there when I told Storm not too.

Abyss: anything after that?

*Cascade had to explain that Sunny went to the sand kingdom and what happened while they were there*

*Inferna was snoring*

Mistral: *sighs*

*Mirage comes back*

Mirage: thanks Blizzard.

Blizzard: your welcome, is Inferna—

Mirage: she’s tired. She apparently stayed up all night to see if Stardust was ok. You can imagine after a week of no sleep she would be tired.

Blizzard: alright, as soon as this war ends I’m going to go find my parents.

Abyss: I can help.

Cascade: correction.. WE can help.

Blizzard: you guys wouldn’t be comfortable in the cold.

Mistral: Yeah...
