I don't get those either. I'm not in any of the high risk groups (yet), and even when I have caught it, I only had mild symptoms. If this happens, I stay home out of an abundance of caution, nothing more. In my youth, if I was able to stand and walk without fainting, I went to work.
They have to plan a year in advance for the strain they THINK people are most likely to get, and they don't always get it right.
