It truly is. And it's easy access! Just 30 miles east of Portland, Oregon, the parking area is in the I-84 freeway median at exit 31. From there, it is only a quarter-mile walk that climbs about 165 feet to the pictured bridge. It's part of the spectacular Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area.
