say what you want but undertale started out as a earthbound rom hack. I feel like most everyone yelling about how undertale is better than earthbound hasn't actually played both games. Undertale Is a good game to be sure, but even so, I wouldn't say it's better than what was one of the most appraised rpgs of all time.
