This makes god out to be nicer than he was. He tortured Job all on his own, no help from satan.

Well actually in the Bible the story goes that satan says that job will one day stop worshipping god and give in so god said to do these brutal and sad things like make his children die and stuff and after all of it job kept believing in god and satan was proved wrong( sorry I typed this I learned that entire story for nothing)

Yeah but god was still the one who did all of those horrible things.

For context; God has over a million confirmed kills in the Bible. Satan has 10.
