The question isn’t: “Can men get abortions?” which assumes that abortion is a right that men aren’t given, and can therefore be freely taken away from women without injuring gender equality. The question is: “Can men be forced by the state to carry a pregnancy and give birth against their will?” The answer to that is no, right? Ergo: For men and women to be fully equal in the eyes of the law, women need the right to terminate an unwanted pregnancy.
