A common sentiment among a certain segment of GOPers is that the 1/6 Committee Hearings are a sham, a start-to-finish falsehood intended to serve as a frame-up. Obviously, they're entitled to their opinions, but it's pretty clear they're operating from a position of clownshoes crazy; the Committee is; working with testimony given under oath which means that if the House flips in November, everyone who gave testimony in the; GOP-extolled denialist scenario would be vulnerable to prosecution -among that number being Donald Trump's own daughter and son-in-law, Donald Trump Jr. and Bill Barr. Why would the; man's own daughter willingly open herself up to possible felony convictions for perjury and conspiracy? Or his son-in-law? Or his son? Or Bill Barr, for that matter? Bill Barr's no fool; he's a weasel, sure -because lawyer. But he's definitely no fool.
