Germany already tried the green new steal and is now more dependent on Russian gas and Chinese manufacturing than ever.
Now of course we could argue that Germany just didn't print enough mad money in their quest to destroy all domestic energy production. You guys WILL! You'll print unlimited money!
But there in lies the rub. You can never spend enough to make windmills profitable without massive Gov't subsidies and you can never replace real energy production with solar and wind, because even the best solar and wind only produce electricity half the time.
So even if we wanna pretend that another 10 trillion in Biden mad money won't increase inflation EVEN MORE, your green new steal still leaves you with California's rolling blackouts and more reliance on 2nd world energy and manufacturing than ever before.
