Anyone that says anything contrary to the liberal narrative of homosexuality is labeled as homophobic. Same with the make-believe condition called "transgender". They cannot handle opposition to their views, because they cannot defend them. And how could they? So instead, they resort to ad hominem. And this is how the petty, childish moderators justify dismissing ideas that they do not like.
As to your strong suspicion that Paul was a gay man, I would wonder where that comes from? It certainly doesn't come from the parts of the Bible that God penned His Word through. The portions of the Bible that Paul was used to write that deal with homosexuality speak strongly against that sin. If you thought were true, Paul would hardly be the first nor last person to speak against that which he was guilty of, but there is no indication that he struggled with this. That the "heroes" of the Bible are often portrayed with their 'warts' and weaknesses exposed for all to see is one of the marks that it is truthful. Those writing about themselves, or the important figures of their faith, would not normally include such things. In other words, if Paul had this issue, he would very likely dealt with it openly.
And he had the perfect opportunity to reveal how he was redeemed from the sin of homosexuality when he wrote this:
1 Corinthians 6:9-11 (emphasis added)
Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God?
Do not be deceived:
Neither the sexually immoral,
nor idolaters,
nor adulterers,
nor men who practice homosexuality,
nor thieves,
nor the greedy,
nor drunkards,
nor revilers,
nor swindlers
will inherit the Kingdom of God.
And such were some of YOU.
But you were washed,
you were sanctified,
you were justified in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ
and by the Spirit of our God.

As for those at the Council of Nicaea, I would also wonder how you came to that conclusion, though you are far more likely to be right when it comes to the group represented there. This was headed up by Constantine, who is likely currently waiting for the Day of Judgment, when he will be cast into the Lake of Fire. And it included an "ecumenical" council, though there were not all sorts of denominations at that point.
Reading the Bible through may be commendable, but without looking to God to help you understand it, much of it will be lost on you.
