My family used to be friends with a Hispanic family and we would go over to their house all the time. The son introduced me to fanf. The family would always speak Spanish in front of us. Yet I didn't know that my mom was pointing out a lady when she said hey look at that chica. I really thought that she actual saw chica. I look back at that day and think wow I was a thick minded kid.
