Hard to believe, 40 years ago, today, Steven Spielberg's magnum opus was released. Watched it the very first time at the old, defunct Northline Cinema for my 4th birthday. This triumphant family film taught me the true meaning of love, as well as the value of friendship. Most importantly, though, it taught me to never trust G-men. A sentiment I continue to hold dear. Especially in the world we live in.
