I think that we should be paying attention to things like inflation and crime but I also believe that things like a straight-up attempted coup (January 6) should also be given attention as well. It would frankly be insane if something like the January 6 hearings didn't get news coverage. The only way to solve problems in society is to take down political boundaries and collectively dedicate our time to solving all problems regardless of opinion.

No, I'm talking about the hearings. I do fully believe that people should be allowed to protest but when it comes to the point of destruction and people dying, that's where I draw the line.

Now lets take that in contrasts with Antifa and BLM who destroyed private properties and businesses and killed a good amount of people including children. It is easy to turn your eyes from the wrongs your own party is doing and demonize the activities of the other party. Am I correct? You heard this before, this is not new to you, but yet, here you are turning a blind eye to what Antifa and BLM are still doing and demonizing a civil action performed a year and a half ago just because they are from the opposite party and is what the media feeds you.

I do realize that the BLM protests did cause some destruction but Right-wing protests also can as well. Example:

Out of context and irrelevant, we are not talking about neo-nazy rally on here. Go and fetch data of all damage done by Antifa and BLM. Pay close attention to the financial cost of their actions and death toll. Then compare that to the financial cost of January 6th event and death toll, you will see a VERY different picture. Stop trying to derrail. If you can't argue, then is best for you to walk out with your tail between your legs.

January 6 was ONE day mind you. The BLM events were over the course of months. More things are going to occur over the course of months. Also, I bring up the Unite the Right rally to demonstrate that violence doesn't pick political sides and can be on both sides of the spectrum.

Yes thank you for agreeing. But people have the right to protest. The reason why Jan 6th is even coming up is because of a desperate move by democrats because mid terms are coming. Nothing else.

Yes it does, but what you are doing here is trying to silince a group of people you do not agree with and you are for that group to be censored and have their civil right to prorest be taken away from them. That makes you a tyrant. I did my time in the military so that people can have the freedom to protest and express their dissapointment towards their government. I fought for their freedom so if they wanted to burn the flag, so be it, that is their right as citizens. However burning other people's bussiness and private properties is a crime and I do not support that. There is a VERY distinctive, If you can't tell the difference you better check yourself. Jan 6 was at a government building filled with a bunch of crooked, dishonest, and greedy politicians. Not worth your efforts defending.

Look buddy, I'm not angry at them for being right-wing, I'm upset with them because they used violent tactics during the protest. If they were doing a completely peaceful protest, I would have been perfectly fine with their actions but many of them actively wanted to harm people. I can also say the same about Antifa protestors as well as many people who were unaffiliated with their targets were harmed as well. In general, violence is the most morally incorrect to achieve one's goal. If you want to be a Republican, go on ahead. All I'm saying is that violence is bad and people should be held accountable.

I am not a republican. And I agree, things should always be tried to resolve without vilence. And I wish that was the case. But some times there is a time when people say enough is enough and you have to use violence to dethrone the corrupted politicians who are sucking you dry. People have the right to protest. Police got violent, people got triggered. It happens.

I'm talking about the events after the January 6 event.
