I've tried running for elections as dictator, it didn't really work out. I suggest running as a normal person, then ban all other parties, and make yourself the sole leader.
In my state, it's like 1500 bucks plus a 200 dollar FBI tax stamp and a 12 month waiting period. Which is still better than the Philippines where you probably can't get a silenced pistol period.
