Look there are slight differences between the two and that's important to some people while yes most might consider me pan i say I'm bi because I discovered it first and with the slight difference between it's so small that it doesn't matter much so go with what your preference is.

Well, you could be something like bisexual panromantic, or biromantic pansexual.
Someone who is both bi and pan could be poly, since that is kind of a mix between pan and bi, where someone can feel attracted to people of a lot of genders, but not all of them, and gender plays a big role in the attraction.
