You referring to pronouns? To me that's different from their legal name or preferred name. Like I call you Octavia Melody but you could change your screename and that's what I'll refer to.
Aren't those 2 different things though? I honestly don't have a problem calling Mike Michelle if that's what he wants. Names don't have to be gender specific like pronouns sometimes are.
They're different, but transgender people who face problems with one will probably face problems with both (if someone refuses to call them by their preferred name, they will probably also refuse to use their preferred pronouns)
