the entire comic sucks and it exaggerates and romanticises gay & poly people while forcing them to adhere to every stereotype possible in the type of person they are/they're personality, including the fact they are gay.

The person writing it is a non-het guy. The reason all of them are gay is because prep doesn’t show any attraction to women, which means they couldn’t have a girlfriend (plus, there are some other lesbian characters if you read later) and all of the characters have a lot of character to it other than that.
