"You need to stop teaching SEL [social emotional learning - teaching kids to deal with stress, etc]. It's really just critical race theory. YOU'RE TEACHING COMMUNISM!"
Several board members (and me in the crowd) couldn't suppress their laughter.
There were 3 armed policemen & a metal detector there, because last meeting they interrupted the closed portion of the meeting & served the board members with a warrant because (get this...) the PARENTS FOR THE SAFETY OF CHILDREN were suing them for subjecting children to cruel and unusual punishment and for violating their constitutional right not to wear a mask DURING A PANDEMIC.
