Well when oil is measured by the barrel, and rig sizes very from Kansas to Texas I would assume the price of gas has nothing to do with production and everything to do with exports.

Oil is a traded commodity. Prices are set by the market.
They're offset by subsidies in the US because despite the whining, even today's prices are significantly less than they are throughout most of the world.

After asking google. America pumps about 11.6 million berrels of oil a day. But uses about 20.6 million berrels a day. Each rig pumps over 4,000 barrels. We don't pump oil at a fast rate like other oil rich countries which is hindsight. That fact is that we consume more than we have access to. And that is why we have sky rocketing gas prices. Would have been nice if a commander in chief could have negotiated something. But we also need to realize consumption now is less conservative than it was 80 years ago.

How much oil do each of those you watching produce. How much gasoline is produced from that amount of oil. It's much more involved than oil rigs pumping.

I guess it also depends on how much oil is left underground. What are they not telling us? How bad is it really? Trucks have spent the last 4 years guzzling gas, and SUVs also did the same, granted automobiles are no longer getting only 18 mpg depending on the year make and model. So it beggs to question wtf is going on?

I guess when a government controls the car industry, bails them out and lifts them up, allows them to flood the market with trucks and SUVs. More gas is needed. The more people in a country with cars also messes with supply and demand so throw immigration into the mess with a country that consumes more than it has, the pit jus keeps getting deeper. Before we know it the pocket caves in and we're all living in a hole. Maybe not in this lifetime, but one can have a imagination, and beg to ask the question. Theirs no conspiracy about it. Logically if water irrigation can empty a aquifer over the course of 30 years, same goes for any liquid under ground. But we haven't done the crazy infinity into earth drill unlike Russia. Which they claimed to have stopped. Idk that's the wonder of it all.
