actually, both parties are suspended for 5 school days no matter what because of the "zero-tolarance" policy.

My son and I were just talking about this. There was a situation he knew of, where a group of bullies all started a fight with the same kid. The three bullies each got 1 suspension of five days. The kid that was being bullied got 3 5 day suspensions, which resulted in him being expelled from school. He would have been valedictorian or salutatorian of his class, but instead every school he had been accepted to withdrew their acceptance. Not sure of what happened to him after that, but if it were me there would be a whole lot of lawsuits going on. Both against the school district, the bully kids, and their families.

Same thing with my Nephew, he had a Broken arm one time back in 5th grade and this POS in his school was messin with him started pulling on his cast so he told the kid to stop but when the kid wouldn't let go he COLD CLOCKED him in his Head!
