When a criminal who isn't supposed to be able to get a firearm goes to a gun-free zone and shoots a bunch of people, while the police who are supposedly there to protect you stand by and do nothing, only for a private citizen to stop the shooter with their own gun, and a Democrats says that this is a perfect example of why we need stricter gun laws because "only the police should have guns, they can protect us" literal weeks after demanding that the police be defunded because they're "corrupt and racist":
